We woke up very early since we had some jetlag still and ate breakfast at 7 am. We then went to walk around Venice at 8am. It was very quiet and nice to just explore. Then we walked towards St. Mark Square and explored around that neighborhood. Went inside the church and walked around the shops. Then we got some bread from other tourists and fed the pigeons. A pigeon stayed on my head for at least 5 minutes and Ceci was alittle chicken at first with the chickens. Apparently 2 years ago they banned selling seeds in the square which is a bummer so was less pigeons around but still plenty when you have bread. We picked up a liter of red wine from a shop that has it in barrels and just pours the wine into water bottles. It was good stuff and came back to hotel to drink it and for a few hour nap. After that some more walking all around and a Gondola ride through Venice. We had more Italian food for dinner and just chilled after that. It has been a bit cold probably about 45 during the day and 38 Fahrenheit at night.
